Compacted? Struggling to Thrive?

Question: I hear yoga’s good for me, but what can I expect if I come to class weekly?

Short Answer: If you come to yoga at least once a week you will begin to notice some changes in a rather short period of time. You are going to be stronger mentally and physically, more flexible, more relaxed and you are going to CRAVE more!

Does your mind crave more?

Yoga Increases flexibility – Yoga poses use many joints, tendons and ligaments that the typical person doesn’t use in their normal day.  These joints, tendons and ligaments may have been “sitting the bench” for a while. (Heck some of them may not have been put in to play for years.) Inactivity has allowed them to become weak and inflexible. Yoga poses actively include and reawaken, stretch and strengthen these joints, tendons and ligaments.

Yoga, a Big Hug for Your Insides – Yoga stimulates and massages all the internal glands and organs of the body. Typically your glands and organs don’t get much love or attention until they cause you a problem. The active internal massage created by many yoga exercises aids in the prevention of disease and may allow one to be aware of the onset of a disease or disorder.

Flushing and Detoxification – Gentle yoga exercises reap big benefits in the muscles, organs, tendons and ligaments. Yoga increases the blood supply to the many body parts. This increased blood supply assists in nourishing the body while flushing toxins. The nourishing and flushing improves your vitality and zest for life!

Yoga Poses – Through body weight exercises you are going to strengthen your body. The muscle tone you begin to notice in your arms alone will put a smile on your face.

Acceptance – When you attend yoga at The Yoga Studio you will be accepted as you are, where you are, right now. You will enter to smiles and leave with one of your own. Namaste
